Speaker: Michael Ellig, CPIM, Plant Manager at Tigercat Industries 

Michael Ellig is a Plant Manager at Tigercat Industries for the drive train division in Kitchener. Tigercat specializes in the design and manufacture of forest harvesting systems and specialized machines for severe duty off road applications.

Michael‘s career in Manufacturing Operations has spanned over 35 years. He has held various leadership roles focusing on Operational Excellence.

Michael has an extensive background in lean transformation, as well as supply chain management.

Michael is a Business/Economics graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University; he is certified in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Logistics and achieved his Lean six sigma Green Belt through the University of Michigan. Michael is a certified CPIM through APICS and has taught the APICS examination review courses.

Michael lives in Waterloo with his wife, Donna and their two children Christopher and Jessica…both University grads.
