Our Call for Speakers is now Open

The success of Innovation is solely dependent on the calibre of its speakers and panel members.

Are you considered an expert in your field and wish to share some of your experience with us?

Have you been involved in a Supply Chain or Operations Management implementation and survived to talk about it? Would you consider telling us about your successes and challenges?

Are you a senior executive who would be willing to participate in one of our Panels of Experts?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then we'd like to hear from you!

Our Call for Speakers is now open. Submit your presentation topics for review by November 15, 2017. We will notify you of our final selection by November 30.

Speaker Guidelines

If selected as a speaker, you agree that:

  • As a token of our appreciation, your fees for the conference (only) are waived.
  • Any travel and accomodation expenses are your responsibility, and will not be reimbursed by the conference.
  • You will be notified prior to the conference of your presentation's scheduled timeslot and will arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled presentation.
  • You will provide a brief bio that will be included in the conference program. A picture (in jpeg or gif format) is appreciated but is not mandatory.
  • You will use a template provided by the APICS Ontario Grand Valley Chapter for your presentations.
  • You will provide us with an electronic copy, in pdf format, of your final presentation no later than December 31, 2017.
  • You are the author of your presentation, and that you have obtained any required permissions if you have included copyrighted material.
  • You allow the APICS Ontario Grand Valley Chapter to publish your presentation in its conference proceedings, in pdf format.
  • You allow the APICS Ontario Grand Valley Chapter to print and distribute copies of your presentation at, and during, the conference.
  • You will have a portable electronic version of your presentation (CD or memory stick) that can be loaded onto the room's laptop. Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Reader will be the only software available for projection purposes.
  • You will allow the conference committee to take still photographs during your presentations to be used to promote Innovation 2019.
  • Video recordings of your presentation will not occur unless specific permission has been requested, and granted, by you. We have no current plans to record any sessions.
